Summary

Habitor is a habit-tracking game for iPhone made by an independent developer. This policy explains, in plain language, what the app does with your information.

The short version

Your data stays on your iPhone, and we do not collect it. No analytics, no ads, no tracking, no accounts.

What Habitor stores

Habitor keeps everything it needs to run the game on your device:

  • the habits ("quests") you create, when you complete them, and your streaks;
  • your game progress: hunter name, level, city, gear, pet, Super Powers and settings;
  • optional reminder times you set.

None of this is sent to us or to anyone else.

iCloud sync (optional)

If you turn on iCloud Sync in Settings, Habitor stores a copy of your habits and progress in your own private iCloud database (Apple CloudKit), so the same save appears on your other iPhones signed in to the same Apple Account. The data is held by Apple under your Apple Account; the developer has no access to it.

Turn iCloud Sync off at any time in Settings, or remove the data from iCloud in iOS Settings > Apple Account > iCloud > Manage Storage.

Apple Health (optional, read-only)

You can link a quest to Apple Health (for example steps, workouts, sleep, mindful minutes or water) so it clears automatically. If you do, Habitor reads only the data types you approve, on your device, to decide whether the quest is done for the day.

Habitor never writes to Health, never uploads Health data, never shares it with third parties, and never uses it for advertising or marketing. You can revoke access at any time in iOS Settings > Health > Data Access & Devices > Habitor.

Game Center (optional)

Game Center is off until you tap "Game Center" in the Hunter tab. If you opt in, Apple's Game Center handles achievements and leaderboards under your Apple Account and Apple's own privacy policy. Habitor only sends your scores and achievement progress to Game Center; it does not receive personal information about you from it.

Notifications

Habitor can send local reminders (evening quest reminders, pet care, focus sessions). These are scheduled on your iPhone and never pass through a server. You can turn them off in Settings or in iOS Settings > Notifications.

Purchases

Habitor offers a one-time in-app purchase (the Full Hunter License) and a free 7-day trial. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. The developer never sees your payment details; Habitor only learns whether the purchase is active so it can unlock content. "Restore Purchases" in Settings re-checks this with Apple.

What Habitor does not do

  • No analytics or usage statistics.
  • No advertising and no ad identifiers.
  • No tracking across apps or websites.
  • No third-party SDKs: the app uses only Apple frameworks.
  • No accounts, no email sign-up, no server operated by the developer.

Children

Habitor is a general-audience app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children; since the app collects no data, there is nothing for us to delete.

Deleting your data

Delete the app to remove all local data. If iCloud Sync was on, also remove Habitor's data from iCloud (iOS Settings > Apple Account > iCloud > Manage Storage), or use "Full reset" in the app's Settings first.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
