When you report a bug, please include:

  • your iPhone model and iOS version;
  • the Habitor version (Settings > About);
  • what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead. A screenshot or screen recording helps a lot.

Purchases & Restore Purchases

The Full Hunter License is a one-time purchase made through the App Store and tied to your Apple Account. To get it back on a new iPhone, after reinstalling, or after a reset:

  1. Open Habitor and go to Settings.
  2. Tap Restore Purchases.
  3. Sign in with the same Apple Account you bought it with, if asked.

Refunds are handled by Apple. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

The 7-day trial

New hunters can start a free 7-day trial of everything in the Full Hunter License. It's a free in-app item from Apple: you are never charged, and it never renews into a subscription.

  • When the trial ends you switch to the free license. Your progress stays. Quests you already created keep working; only locked content is closed.
  • The trial is tied to your Apple Account. Restore Purchases brings it back on a new device, but it can't be started a second time.
  • Settings shows how many trial days are left.

Backups

Export and import a backup file

In Settings > Backup you can export your whole save as one file (Habitor-Backup-<date>.json) and keep it in Files, iCloud Drive or anywhere you like. Importing a backup replaces the current save with it.

Automatic local copies

Every reset first saves a backup copy of your save on the device, and the newest 3 are kept. If a save ever fails to load, Habitor keeps it aside untouched and lets you load one of these copies. Restored backups take effect when you fully close and reopen Habitor, and the days since the backup was made are forgiven: no buildings collapse for them.

iCloud sync

Turn on iCloud Sync in Settings to keep your quests and progress on every iPhone signed in to the same Apple Account. Your data lives in your own private iCloud database; the developer can't see it.

  • Make sure iCloud Drive is on for your Apple Account and that you are signed in on both devices.
  • The first sync can take a few minutes. Open Habitor on both iPhones while connected to the internet.

Apple Health

Quests can be linked to steps, workouts, sleep, mindful minutes or water so they clear by themselves. If a linked quest doesn't clear:

  • Check access in iOS Settings > Health > Data Access & Devices > Habitor.
  • Open Habitor once: clears picked up in the background are applied on the first open of the day.

Widgets & Control Center

Add the Habitor widgets from your Home Screen (touch and hold, then tap Edit > Add Widget), or add the quick-clear control in Control Center. Quests cleared from a widget while the app is closed pay out their rewards the next time you open Habitor.

Known limits

  • Some game state (gates cleared, housing, the Forge, your chosen Super Power and the skill tree) doesn't sync between devices yet. A backup file carries all of it: export on one iPhone and import on the other.
  • Apple Health clears made in the background wait for the first app open of the day.
  • Widget quick clears made while the app is closed pay out on the next open.

Deleting your data

Use Full reset in Settings, or delete the app to remove all local data. If iCloud Sync was on, also remove Habitor's data in iOS Settings > Apple Account > iCloud > Manage Storage. See the Privacy Policy for details.
